I am available for freelance work. My company, Impulse Response, specializes in consultancy in signal and image processing, but I might also be able to help you with some of the other things that I write about on this blog. Contact me if you think I can help you with something.
The bulk of my experience with (one-dimensional) signal processing stems from my work at Antwerp Space, where I worked on a range of products from the space industry. Examples of this include a communications proxy for ESA's Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV), and the modulation/demodulation software of a baseband modem for satellite tracking, telemetry, and telecommand (TT&C).
My main experience in image processing is in the reconstruction and segmentation of tomographic images, from the development of novel algorithms up to and including the final implementation in software, with practical applications such as μCT and electron tomography. This work in tomography lead to a PhD in Physics in November 2013, at the Vision Lab of the University of Antwerp.
Apart from signal and image processing, I have extensive experience (10+ years) in software in general, mostly in developing embedded software, including real-time applications. Examples include the electrical check-out systems of ESA's ATV and of the Galileo satellite navigation system.
